Learn the ins and outs of making it as an entrepreneur
at the Miami Herald's Small Business Forum on Feb. 25, held at
Florida International University's College of Business Complex. The
seminar is for people who want to succeed despite the challenges of
a down economy.
This year's Forum, titled, "Entrepreneurship: Preparing
for the Recovery," is presented by The Miami Herald, The Eugenio
Pino & Family
Global Entrepreneurship Center at FIU and the Network for Teaching
Entrepreneurship.
The event runs from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
at FIU's main campus.
Tom Hudson,
anchor of the Nightly Business Report on PBS, will give the keynote
speech. Panel topics include financing and alternative lending
sources, running home-based businesses and international entrepreneurship.
Registration costs $30 and includes lunch and morning coffee.
