As most of you know, weve launched our first satellite office
in Margate. Many thanks go out to Margate City Manager, Frank Porcella,
Margate Redevlopment Assistant Director, Dennis Holste, Chamber
President, Jack Tobin and Chamber Executive Director, Jamie Milner. Without
their expert knowledge and support, it never would have become a reality.
BrowardSCORE presents small business workshops on the first and third Tuesdays
at the Margate Community Center, located at 6199 NW 10th Street. You can check
upcoming workshops by following the links in the right sidebar.
In addition to the workshops, counselors are available, by appointment, for meetings
at the Margate Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber offices are located at 1025 State
Road 7, Margate, FL 33063. The Chamber phone is 954.582.0399. Appointments can
be made by phone to 954.356.7263, or by email to mail@browardscore.org. |

BrowardSCORE LinkedIn Group
On the heels of Paul Hartmanns excellent workshop, Grow
Your Business With Social Media, we thought it would be a good
idea to practice what were preach. So, in addition our Facebook
Page and Twitter,
weve set up a LinkedIn
Group for the chapter.
Youll find news and resources, but one of the best parts will
be the Discussions. Our hope is that you participate in the conversations
and network with SCORE counselors and other small business owners
in the area. Post your burning questions and maybe answer a few too.
If you're not already a LinkedIn
member, join up, post your profile and get
in on the conversation. We look forward to seeing you there.
